Gloria is a project about the loss of my grandmother. We were extremely close, and her last year of life was a struggle. I was there, in and out, for the whole thing. I made parts of this while she was still alive and then assembled and added to it after her passing.
It's a combination of essays, diary entries, and little snippets of conversations we had over the years. There are also a bunch of drawings I did of her house, her, and the things that were so permanent in my life—things that started to feel fleeting as she started to fade and are now out of my life forever.
